12 years ago at the grand opening of our first Cheesecaked® location at the Mall at Peachtree Center in downtown Atlanta. 🥹💕
My kids have been front row to this journey from the very beginning.
They’ve watched me fight through heartbreak, loss, rebuilding, cancer, closed doors, financial struggles, going back to school at 52, running for office, and still getting up every single day trying to build something meaningful for our family.
And through all of it, they’ve loved me anyway.
Supported me anyway.
Believed in me anyway.
Sometimes I wonder if they truly know how much their love kept me going.
We’ve been through a lot… but we’re still here.
Still dreaming.
Still pushing.
Still believing our breakthrough is coming. ✨
Just a quiet moment of reflection 🤍
Sometimes I get so focused on what’s next that I forget to pause and appreciate how far life has brought me already.
The people.
The memories.
The healing.
The growth.
The little moments that became big ones.
Just grateful for it all.
