I am often asked:
What can I use to exfoliate?
My number 1 recommendation is an African Net Sponge! I rave about them, but here are a few other options that work if you’re unable to find an African net sponge or simply prefer a different product.
Exfoliating is important for your waxing experience to be the best it can possibly be. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells that sit on top of new skin cells. Simply washing with soap and water isn’t enough. We need to scrub those dead skin cells away so our hair doesn’t get trapped underneath new skin cells.
I recommend exfoliating every other day and definitely right before your wax appointment. Doing so helps both you, the client, and myself, the waxer, provide and receive the smoothest service 😉
