6-12-2026 - The new space is really looking good! We put together a short video tour today for everyone to view. We have a couple of minor finishing touches and then plan to bring our donors in for tours so that we can recognize them and their contributions to the success of this project.

A special night took place last week at our training tower. B-Shift and our NFD Fire Reserves spent time doing their annual PT Test as a group. This night is about grit, determination, and teammates supporting one another. It is not just about emergency response in our world, more importantly it's about being a family. Every member of our team brings something to the table in support of this community.

6/7/2026 - A-Shift was on duty this weekend and took full advantage of the amazing weather, spending time at Johnson Park training on swift water victim rescue. NFD has several personnel trained in both swift water rescue and shore support. Today was a good day!

6-2-2026 - PROJECT UPDATE!! - The past couple of weeks have truly flown by! Our project has reached roughly 85% completion and it is looking amazing. Our team members have begun moving into their respective living quarters and our shift Lieutenants are occupying their new office. Each day closer to the end that we get, we realize just how blessed we are for the local contractors and donors that have helped make this possible! Stay tuned for photos of the completed project!!
