It’s so good to be networking and having events again at Percolator.

Recently, Saturday, April 8th, SCORE Hampton Roads volunteers led a Business Model Canvas (BMC) workshop at Percolator granby campus. 13 business-minded attendees examined their business ideas or existing business through the lens of 9 blocks on a piece of paper, helping them identify opportunities, challenges, interconnectivity, and new perspectives regarding their business models.

Thank you Kristen Wheeler, SCORE and Percolator alum, for adding to the momentum and helping so many entrepreneurs and especially our great Vets. Collaboration and community is a major part of enjoying the journey and success.

The Bergamot is an American indie folk/rock duo based in Brooklyn, New York. The group formed in 2010 in South Bend, Indiana and consists of Jillian Speece (vocals/cajón) and Nathaniel Paul Hoff (vocals/guitar/keyboard). The duo is known for their songwriting, uplifting music and entertaining shows. Their sound is often compared to Of Monsters and Men, Benjamin Gibbard and Mac Demarco. In 2017 The Bergamot won the Project Aloft Star competition and People Magazine said they were the,“hottest emerging music talent” while EARMILK wrote that, “The Bergamot is the perfect blend.”
