“Mr. Beau & Mrs. Tucker help me so much. They are my family.”

For years, our Navigation & Support Program has assisted a gentleman who was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in his early 20s. We've provided support services by helping him access food when his cupboard was empty, ensuring he received his medication, scheduling and coordinating transportation to medical appointments, supplying clothing, and connecting him with local resources and government assistance. While it can be difficult to visually capture the impact CHAS makes, sometimes a simple smile is all the validation that’s needed.

New year… now what?

The thought of a new year can be daunting to some. Do we really need new goals and a vision board? Probably not. But a clean slate or even a fresh perspective on what’s working and what’s not working may be a good place to start.

Don’t let the pressures of a new year stress you out. Strive for big dreams and rest when you need a breather. You have permission and the power to control both of those objectives in 2026.
