You could always consider taking an iron supplement if you’re doctor recommends. Just beware of the dangers of consuming too much iron.⁠

There are side effects of over-supplementing iron that you don’t encounter if you over-supplement the likes of B12 or vitamin D. So be wary of going over the top too.
