BAC is excited to continue serving and connecting all summer long through our “BAC in Action” service projects, wellness activities like our walk along the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail, Juneteenth celebrations, alumni e-chats and check-ins, and the appointment of new leaders to our board.

Did you know BAC also supports current students through scholarship opportunities? Since its inception in 1989, the Black Alumni Chapter has proudly contributed to the Old Dominion University community through the Ronald L. Horne BAC Scholarship. Named in honor of the University’s first Black undergraduate student, this annual scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate Black students attending ODU.
