Our next 20 Over 60 honoree is Cindy Segobiano!

Cindy has made a lasting, positive impression on her community-quietly, consistently, and without desire for recognition. She gives her time and talent to countless organizations and causes that strengthen our community.
Born and raised in Bloomington, she feels blessed to build a life here with her husband, Mark, raising three wonderful children who have blessed them with five amazing grandchildren. Being present in their busy, joy-filled lives is her greatest privilege.
For more than 50 years, the Bloomington Knockers Youth Football & Cheer program has been part of her family’s service. Coaching cheer squads, fundraising, working concessions, and pitching in wherever needed has been a true labor of love as they work to positively shape local youth.
Her volunteer work with The Baby Fold, Midwest Food Bank, and Safe Harbor—often alongside fellow THRIVE Rotarians—has deepened my belief that many hands truly make light work. Through Women of Wisdom, mentoring fourth-grade girls at Fairview Elementary has been especially meaningful as they help them discover confidence, strength, and leadership.
Serving with Holiday Spectacular has brought treasured friendships and unforgettable moments, from board service to performing in community productions. She also supports early childhood literacy
She said, “If I leave any legacy, I hope it is simply that I showed up—with love, presence, and gratitude—for my family, friends, and community.”
