Firm Foundations 4 Kids, my Christian preschool/daycare in Normal, has a few full-time openings beginning mid-August 2026 for 4-5 year olds.

Firm Foundations 4 Kids is a unique, Christian, kindergarten readiness program designed for 4-5 year olds. This in-home educational daycare/preschool is operated by me, Dara Deppert McCoy, a former Unit 5 kindergarten teacher. Our home is located directly behind Grove Elementary. Kids develop firm foundations intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally through reading, writing, arithmetic, music, exploration, play, problem solving, computers, arts & crafts, and much more! A lot of tailored individualized attention and specialized quality instruction enhances the kids' preparation for kindergarten. It is a state licensed, educational, in-home daycare with a maximum of 8 kids or 12 kiddos with a full-time assistant. The small class size provides an effective student/teacher ratio.
