Nothing stops ISU Best Buddies from walking for inclusion!

The Central Illinois Friendship Walk was canceled Saturday due to tornado damage in the area.

Our members and their buddies, who look forward to the walk all year, were devastated.

We hosted our own walk to the quad during our End of Year social to make up for lost memories.

There’s ALWAYS a way to celebrate friendship and !

Our chapter raised $5,821 for Best Buddies leading up to the Friendship Walk in 2026, which marks our 35th year celebrating inclusion on Illinois State University’s campus. Here’s to many more decades of walking, fundraising, and advocating for friendship 🫂

Mark your calendars 🗓️ The Friendship Walk is happening THIS SATURDAY, and you won’t want to miss it!

Remember to keep fundraising even if you can’t attend the walk. The Illinois State University Chapter still leads school teams as the top fundraiser for the Central Illinois Friendship Walk, but we are always pushing for more donations.
