Memory Cafe Coos

The next Memory Café Coos will take place Wednesday, May 1 from 10:30am-12pm at the North Bend Public Library.

This month we will be joined by the Coos Art Museum to experiment with art projects. In addition, we will have time to socialize with one another at the beginning and end of our gathering.

The next Memory Café Coos will take place Wednesday, January 3 from 10:30am-12pm at the North Bend Public Library!

This month we will have a guest presenter, Allison Lindauer, PhD, APRN, who is an Associate Professor at OHSU's Layton Aging and Alzheimer's Disease Center. She will be presenting on the basics of dementia and best practices for caring for one another when a family is living with dementia and other memory issues.

Dr. Lindauer also runs a NIH-funded study for caregivers for people with dementia that is hoping to recruit rural caregivers. Here is a video that describes the study, and consider signing up today! Link: www.tele-stella.org
