Elsie has officially earned the title of Best Travel Companion… even if she refused to take a turn behind the wheel on the trip to San Antonio! 🚗😂

She was the perfect little road trip buddy, soaking up the adventure and making herself right at home. But my favorite part? Watching her keep a close eye on my grandson, Joaquin, during nap time. 💙🐾 She stayed nearby, making sure her little buddy was safe and sound.

Senior dogs have so much love to give, and they make some of the best companions—whether you’re heading across the state or just cuddling up for a quiet afternoon.

Having a dog at home may make a meaningful difference during the teenage years.

New research from Azabu University found that teenagers who live with dogs showed fewer social difficulties and stronger overall wellbeing compared with those who don’t. Miss Elsie had a spa day today at Hillcrest Dog Spot and is officially rocking her fresh summer haircut ☀️✂️

Now this sweet senior girl is getting ready for a very important meet and greet tomorrow. It’ll be a foster-to-adopt situation, and we are crossing all of our fingers that Elsie is on her very best behavior (which usually means lots of naps and being adorable 😄).

We’re hoping her potential foster family absolutely falls in love with her… because honestly, it’s pretty hard not to ❤️
