The Station 87 "C" shift crew stopped by Station Park in Wellen Park after spotting several children playing nearby. Firefighters handed out junior firefighter helmets, visited with families, and shared a few smiles with some future firefighters.

We love opportunities to connect with our community, especially when they're right in our own backyard.

Sometimes the best calls are the sweet ones.

Station 85 “C “ stopped by a lemonade stand at the corner of Price Blvd. and S. Biscayne Dr. to support three young entrepreneurs who are working hard to save money for school clothes.

We love seeing young people learning the value of hard work, goal setting, and a little customer service. Thanks for the refreshing stop, ladies. We wish you the best of luck reaching your goal!

Congratulations to Fire Chief Scott Titus on receiving the Public Safety and First Responders Award at the Florida Emergency Management Conference in Orlando.

Chief Titus was nominated by Emergency Manager Stacy Aloisio and recognized among public safety professionals from across Florida.

While honored to receive the award, Chief Titus was quick to credit Stacy Aloisio and the Emergency Management team for the exceptional work they have done to build a nationally recognized program, strengthen partnerships with public safety agencies, and exceed expectations in preparing our community for emergencies.

This recognition reflects the strong collaboration between North Port Fire Rescue and the City's Emergency Management Division, and the commitment of those who work every day to keep our community safe and resilient.
