Meet Stella. 💔

At 10 years old, Stella should be spending her golden years curled up on a couch, not trembling in a kennel.

Stella arrived at Border Tails through an unusual set of circumstances, but none of that matters now. What matters is that she is absolutely terrified. Since arriving, she hasn't stopped shaking or panting. The shelter is simply too overwhelming for this sweet senior girl.

Despite everything she's been through, Stella is described as kind, loving, and adventurous. She loves car rides, enjoys walks, and has always been friendly with the people she knows. Like many dogs experiencing so much change, she's fearful of strangers and needs time, patience, and a quiet place to decompress.

Stella's owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her after becoming homeless. Now we're hoping someone can give this deserving girl the soft landing she so desperately needs.

🏡 Stella needs a foster or forever home ASAP. Even a temporary home could make all the difference for this scared senior.

💔 Fidget doesn't have much time. Our only wish is that she doesn't spend it in a kennel.

When Fidget and Fuggler were abandoned together at a mechanic shop, we promised them they were finally safe.

Since then, we've learned that Fidget is riddled with cancer. We don't know if she has months or weeks, but we do know she deserves to spend every day she has left in a loving home.

The one thing we're certain of? She and Fuggler belong together. They have already lost everything once, and we won't separate them now.

We're urgently searching for a hospice foster willing to open their heart to both dogs. Border Tails Rescue will cover all medical care—we just need someone to give them love, comfort, and a soft place to land.

Please help us give Fidget the ending she deserves... with her best friend by her side. ❤️

Meet Sableye, our absolutely stunning 2-year-old red Pitbull mix who has somehow been overlooked despite being the total package. 😭❤️

Named after the Pokémon Sableye, she has the big, bright, sparkling eyes and the cutest pointy ears that perk right up whenever something exciting is happening—and trust us, those ears are impossible not to love.

But Sableye is SO much more than a pretty face.
