Bill Rouse’s first Tourist Attraction that involved famous New York Tribune owner, Horace Greeley. The 12 Paper Mache’ characters have had some revamping in the 1859 Stage Coach Station 15 Replica. A big thanks to Judith Rooney’s family (Bill’s daughter) for the contribution to help with the upkeep of this unique stop on the Leavenworth/Pikes Peak Express. Horace Greeley Also Ran for the Presidency in 1872.

Norton is celebrating 150 years in July! The gallery is featuring the election that happened in 1872. Just so happens that was the year Horace Greeley was the challenger. He is the point of inspiration for the whole collection. Stop in to learn about what happened!
