Electroacupuncture is the use of a TENS unit to deliver mild and comfortable electric impulses to the acupuncture needles once the dry needles are inserted into the appropriate acupoints. The use of the current helps to stimulate the muscles and relieve pain.  There is no pain during the treatment and needles are used in sets of two to allow for the flow of the impulses. ⁠

Our doctors at Advanced Health Professionals will assess your condition and the appropriate dry needling treatments. Electroacupuncture will be recommended based on the condition being treated and the severity presented. The pulses are delivered via small clips that attach to the dry needles at various points on the body. The length and strength of these electronic pulses are adjusted for personal comfort and relaxation during treatment.⁠
