I don’t realy do “the trends” often but this is a fun trend! Brought me back to my modeling days AND reminded me why it was not for me!

That really was and is I don’t know a cutthroat industry and that’s just not for me. I remember my agent once telling a 12-year-old girl that she had cellulite and wasmfat. She certainly was not. She was Brazilian and beautiful and 12!!!!!

I had a lot of issues getting hired because I looked a lot older than what I actually was which became an issue not only for the brands that wanted to work with me but also for me!

I remember once going to an audition for a commercial it was gonna be on NBC and it was like such a big deal for me, but at the audition had to make pretend that I was couple and I had to sit on this guy’s lap which he probably was maybe mid 20s but to me he was a old man and it felt very creepy. I was I think 14.

My agency wanted me to travel also and I’m Dominican y’all my parents were not having me do that without my mother going and that just wasn’t a thing in my household.

Nothing about the industry felt right for me, but that was the industry in the 90s.

I debated telling y’all how old I was in most of these professional photos, but let’s play a game cause I got time today.
