Scott brings 13+ years of coaching at every level, from community clubs to NCAA Division l. He helped Fairfield University win the 2025 MAAC Championship and reach NCAA Nationals for the first time. Before that, he grew youth programs at Greenwich Crew, Pioneer Valley, and Essex Rowing, where he recruited over 100 new athletes to share in his passion for rowing. Scottโs goal? Build something special on the Norwalk River, one athlete at a time. Welcome Scott. Letโs row. ๐

Get ready to hit the water at our free open house today from 11am to 2pm. All levels are welcome from beginners to Masters, we have something for everyone! Learn how to row in our special training barge, sample a Master class from Coach Chuck to keep you in primo rowing condition, try a rowing race for fun, and meet the people who make our club a friendly place to be. Today we are also holding a very special boat naming ceremony for renowned rower and Holocaust survivor, Jack Terry. Be sure to come by! 11 AM - 2 PM: Barge rows for beginners and boathouse tours
