PRAY FOR MATT BROWN #3

Hi everyone, Matt here. I just wanted to take a minute and say a few words.

It’s hard to believe that last week marked 14 years. 14 years since my accident and 14 years since my sister created this page. And while you normally have heard from my family, with different announcements and updates, I was always aware of the support that was being sent back our way and it has meant so, so much.

That support helped me get through the early years, high school, college, and beyond. Most recently, it allowed me to launch the Matt Brown Foundation in 2020 and finally give back to others, like so many have given to me. I’m incredibly happy to say that we are closing in on $200,000 worth of grants to individuals battling paralysis.

Over the last 12 years, I am sure many of you have seen that my running partner Lucas and I have competed in the Boston Marathon and this April will be our 10th. Double digits. For the fourth year in a row, we are running to raise money for the foundation. The last three years have felt extra special, knowing that we are finally doing what we once envisioned so many years ago.

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for all the love and support, and allowing our village to become a little village for others to lean on. If you are able, below is a link to our marathon campaign.
