Perry Hall Children's Center

A cooperative preschool is maintained by the parents/guardians of the children enrolled. Parents take turns assisting teachers in the classroom, volunteering for one of the many necessary jobs (which may be in or out of the classroom) and sharing in the business operations of the school, such as fundraising.

The cooperative philosophy is based on parent involvement while providing developmentally appropriate programs.

At Perry Hall Children’s Center, parents participate in their child’s classroom monthly (usually 1 to 2 times a month, depending on class sizes), attend parent education events, and assist in the running of the school by volunteering for one of many necessary jobs.

The mission of the Perry Hall Children’s Center is to provide a place where children may grow academically, spiritually, emotionally, creatively, physically, mentally and socially through organized activities as directed by the teachers.

The school offers developmentally appropriate programs in a nurturing, loving, safe and stimulating environment, in which parental involvement enriches the learning process.
