Public Statement from Joweh RAW in regards to Jonathan Pinkston and those affiliated who have enabled, condoned, disregarded, and looked the other way when accusations of r*pe, violence, coercion, abuse of staff, and unpaid wages were brought into the light.

There is no gray area where these atrocities are concerned. Neutrality breeds permissiveness, and silence from the community only protects abusers.

We will not contribute to, facilitate or otherwise engage in any dealings with persons or spaces that commit or condone harm, nor will we turn a blind eye to those who do. We will not sit idly while our sisters are suffering. We refuse to compromise in our stance.

We stand with and defend the right of victims to make their voices heard, and we hold in honor and reverence those who choose to remain in silence and anonymity. A victim's silence does not invalidate their truth, and another’s voice is not an invitation for debate.

We fiercely join in solidarity, those who have been harmed. You are believed, and your truth matters.
