I ended 2025 with a conversation that kept me thinking about how I think about future.

Your see Futurist Tamar Kasriel doesn't predict the future, she thinks that's the wrong goal.

What she does is help people get ready for whatever emerges. Not waiting-at-the-starting-line ready. Training-in-all-weather...all conditions, mindset ready.

She has this phrase: "thoughtful, willed, intentional optimism." Sounds like a mouthful, but what she means is this. Pessimism doesn't help you see more clearly.

2026 is going to be uncertain. It already is. That's not a prediction, that's just... the world we are in.
