Real talk, this one made me LOL 😆
Feelings are important! That doesn’t mean they should run the show nor should we ignore them. Instead let’s try to find the balancing space in between, where we acknowledge and hold space for them, while continuing to take actions that align with our values 💗
whew, that can be easier said than done, and it’s worth it to keep trying!

While the gym, cooking, music, yoga, running and talking with friends are all great activities and can be important parts of maintaining mental wellness, they aren’t a replacement for therapy! Therapy offers the opportunity to focus on just you, to gain insight, to reflect on where you’ve been and to give yourself compassion as you heal and grow.

Nothing needs to be “wrong” with you to go to therapy. Sometimes people come for a specific reason or certain hurt, and much more often, people want a better understanding of themselves and how to cope with life.

You’re used to being busy and getting s**t done. You conquer your to do list day in and day out. It feels GREAT to be on top of your game and not only do it all, but do it all WELL.
Except sometimes, life throws you a curve ball. For whatever reason, your heart is a bit heavier, tears are a bit closer to your eyes, your thoughts race faster, and it’s harder to get out of bed in the morning. It’s not quite as easy to juggle everything at once.
