Former Rockland County Legislator, District 17, Jan 2020-December 2023, I very much enjoyed being a voice for Orangetown and Clarkstown.

Republican lawmakers in Yonkers call for an end to New York's faith-based housing proposal 04/17/2024

Westchester had some officials with the courage to speak up, so if Westchester can, Rockland can.
All Rockland County elected officials and candidates, of both parties, should speak up against this disastrous “Faith Based Housing Proposal” being considered by Albany that would have Rockland County turn into chaotic and overbuilt circus where zoning can be legally ignored.

I heard Teresa Kenny posted her objections, and George Hoehmann is in News12 and LOHUD speaking asked it…Let’s see if any other elected’s, candidates, or former elected’s have a stomach.

Not feeling optimistic.

So “Mapquest Mondaire” comes back here to Rockland County for todays Saint Pats parade, after his fleeing Rockland / Congressional District NY-17, to try his luck in NYC’s NY-10 Congressional District, and then gets sent home from that Primary after placing third , as he learned was not so special down there either.
Well, you ditched us, and NYC ditched you, so put away the GPS, and stay lost Mondaire Jones, go hang with your anti Israel loons.

Yeah, sure, “fear mongering” about migrant costs.
NYC please enjoy your (closed) libraries and being protected by your (won’t be hired) cops.
Imagine if someone told us all this was how it would go down. Imagine that.

Congratulations to my opponent Dana Stilley on her win last night, you worked hard, and you earned your win.

I would like to thank all my amazing constituents I met along the way, both in representing this district, an honor I will never forget, and during the campaign to continue to represent this district, a worthy sacrifice.

Particularly during the campaign, the brief interactions at doors where I heard your appreciation for my efforts made the very long days so easy to endure.

Despite the fact that ultimately all that work resulted in a loss, I’m so happy I spent the time that way, as I was then able to meet so many of you.

I want to thank everyone who donated to me, everyone who asked others to vote for me, and most of all everyone voted for me, as each and every vote counts.

I also want to thank everyone who at their door it was perfectly obvious that they were never voting for me, but they acted cordially and offered me a water on a hot day, because here in Rockland County we are gracious and kind people.

Our team had some great wins last night, and I’m so happy for all the winners, you will all do well by your constituents and we are all so fortunate to have you in office.

There are others, who like me did not pull off the win, but hold your head high, as you put yourself out there for the sake of our of our community. Thank you for your efforts.

I want to wish our County Legislator elect Dana Stilley success in her soon to be role of representing us here in District 17.
