The men and women who have died serving and defending our country deserve to be honored and remembered. As a veteran who’s lost very close friends serving, I’m personally asking you to take a moment and recognize that someone you’ve never met died to protect you and everyone you love to live free. Please don’t take their sacrifices for granted. Show respect and honor them and their families through remembrance, and please teach your children and tell them why we’re able to live the way we do. No we’re not perfect, but we’re STILL the greatest country on the planet, and we’re PROTECTED BY THE DEADLIEST ARMED FORCES IN HISTORY!
