Hi friends,
We’re so grateful for all the volunteers showing up at The Farm this Saturday ready to work … and we want to make sure they have everything they need when they get here.
While most of the tasks just require physical labor, many require supplies. Pavers and sand for the back patio. Materials for a handful of other projects that are finally ready to go. And the fastest, most direct way to help us get them? A Menards or Home Depot e-giftcard.
Any amount helps. Seriously — $25, $50, $100 — it all goes straight to supplies our volunteers will put to use this weekend.
It takes about two minutes:

That's Emily Smith, our Executive Director and the person who will be at the register picking up supplies before the crew arrives Saturday morning.
We know this is a different kind of ask — no gala, no auction paddle, just "hey, we need supplies and we need them by the weekend." But that's exactly where we are in this build, and these are the moments where a community pulling together makes all the difference.
Thank you for being part of this. Every giftcard that hits Emily's inbox between now and Friday gets put to work immediately.
With gratitude,
The KSBH at The Farm Team
💜 Behind the Barn Door: Chad's Story
Some things are easier to believe when you hear them from someone who's lived it.
KSBH Board Member Chad Schwarz shares why this organization means so much to him ... not just as someone who helps lead it, but as someone it has helped.
That takes courage. And we think you'll feel it the moment you press play.
This is a reminder of what's at the heart of everything we're building at The Farm: the belief that asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do, and that the right environment can make all the difference in someone's journey.
We're so thankful for Chad's ongoing support... and we'd appreciate yours as well. Find out how you can get involved at https://karlasmithbehavioralhealth.org/capital-campaign-2026/

THIS SATURDAY!
We are SEEKING VOLUNTEERS! We could really use your help.
Spend this Saturday at The Farm and help us get it ready for the kids and families KSBH serves.
We're hosting a volunteer work day on Saturday, June 6 from 9 to 3. PLEASE NOTE, as The Farm is an active construction site we are requesting all volunteers be 18 years old or older.
Gardening, yard work, clean-up, a few hands-on projects, the kind of work that makes a real difference in how the space feels when someone walks through the gate. Lunch is on us.
Bring work gloves, sturdy shoes, and a willingness to get a little dirt under your nails.
