Step back in time and join us for an Olde Fashioned Afternoon Tea at the historic Cunningham Schoolhouse in Fresno Flats Historic Park.

Enjoy an elegant afternoon filled with fine teas, delicate finger sandwiches, fresh scones, homemade desserts, and wonderful conversation in one of Oakhurst's most charming historic settings. Tea party hats are warmly welcomed (but never required)!

Puzzle night at Raven & Pines Bookstore is going to be lots of fun, we’re so excited that Mariposa local band JNX is playing at Music on the Green at the Mariposa Art Park on Saturday, and the Independence from Hunger Community BBQ at the Oakhurst Grocery Outlet on Sunday is a wonderful fundraiser benefitting MY Club

Sorry about the late post this week, we had a crazy 4th of July weekend!

I know many of you have missed my weekly event videos, and I’m working on bringing them back soon. In the meantime, I hope these posts will be helpful to you.

This was an amazing experience! Thank you for coming to cheer me on! It was amazing to be a part of the 66th Annual North Fork Jamboree, to be a part of the history, and celebrate our mountain culture!

A visit to the Mariposa Museum & History Center gave me such a deeper appreciation for the stories that built this community.

I had the chance to tour their incredible archival vault and library, learn about Mariposa's rich Gold Rush history, and see their historic mining equipment, including the only operational 5-stamp gold ore mill in California. Every corner of the museum reflects the passion and dedication of the volunteers who keep this history alive.

The entire museum is volunteer-run, which makes everything they've preserved even more remarkable.

A huge thank you to Rosalie for the wonderful tour and for sharing so much knowledge with me. It was such a joy creating content together, and I left with an even greater appreciation for the people who work so hard to preserve Mariposa's history.

If you're exploring Mariposa or heading to Yosemite, this is a stop that's absolutely worth making.
