Come celebrate 14 years of PLACE in grassroots style of community building through events, classes, workshops, street festivals (6 years), film screenings, benefits for other ally organizations, indigenous markets, q***r arts markets , street mural painting, public parkletts for the neighborhood, local gardens and fruit tree plantings (thank you Common Vision.

You all made this what PLACE is today, whatever generation of PLACE you were involved with and it deserves to be a continued resource for the blooming community it serves currently!
This is a critical juncture for PLACE and the next several months are especially vulnerable!

PLACE Benefit Concert and June Town Hall These past 3 years PLACE has faced serious challenges keeping its doors open. As many of you already know, the property owner received a Notice of Violation in 2022. The impacts of this have been far-reaching, most urgently affecting use of our facilities.

Join us for the last sewing series for the year! Calling in all of you who have wanted to alter beloved clothes or make something new, who have ancestral connections to garment making and want to reconnect, those of you who are curious about sewing. This is a masks required and access centered class with an intention to skill up qtbipoc community, so that we may practice practice practice creation toward liberation. I hope to see you in the Makery!
