Remembering how the Natives welcomed the outsiders & how the pilgrims repaid them with treachery .
After the natives educated the pilgrims on how to live off the land , the repaid the kindness with small pox blankets disguised as a gift . Once the sickness took affect , the pilgrims slaughtered the natives .
