Science For Tots

Summer is a great time to use water to teach science. Fill a kiddy pool with water or a dishpan. Grab some things from around the house, a ball, an elastic band (things that float and those that don't). Before putting the items in the water, ask your child to sort the items she thinks will float and things she doesn't think will float. Try it out!
