🐴 Mustang Crush Monday 🐴

I know I usually do Mare Crush Mondays, but not today.

I promised you I would show you what One Ear Wonder did in my studio that no horse has ever done before. He stepped all four hooves onto the pedestal. Every single time Laura asked.

Mustangs are something else entirely. The intelligence, the self-possession, the way they assess everything before they commit, and then when they commit, they really commit. One Ear didn't tentatively put a hoof up and wait to see what happened. He walked up there and stood like he owned the place.

I have been photographing horses for a long time. No horse has ever done that.

If you haven’t heard about the bridleless riding competition just a few weeks ago in the UK, you should look it up! It was very impressive. The founder of ‘The Heart of Horsemanship’, Mia, organized this competition. But she’s done more than just this one event…

Mia Rodley is a positive and progressive instructor and founder of The Heart of Horsemanship, a company passionate about inspiring and educating excellent horsemanship, for the love of the horse.

Specializing in performance, liberty, and bridleless riding, Mia focuses on training calm, connected, and confident horses, whatever the discipline.

For this clinic we will be learning the importance of the mental connection with our horses, the nuanced pathway to high level liberty, and precise steps towards bridleless collection.

Her work is very impressive to myself and many others, so let’s fly her out to the US! This will be her first time teaching in the US! What better place to go first than right outside of Ocala 🌴
