This weekend we'll continue our Reset series with a message from Psalm 3 called "Finding Rest."

Most of us think we'll finally find peace when life slows down—after the busy season ends, the problems are solved, or we can finally get away for a while. But have you ever noticed that even on vacation, your mind can still be racing?

King David wrote Psalm 3 while running for his life. Betrayed by his own son, rejected by many of his closest friends, and surrounded by enemies, he made one astonishing statement:

"I lie down and sleep... because the LORD sustains me."

How is that possible?

Join us as we discover that true rest isn't found when life becomes easy—it's found when we learn to trust the God who never stops watching over His people.

After three months away on sabbatical, I'm grateful to be back.

This season didn't unfold the way I expected. Plans changed, prayers deepened, and God used the quiet to expose areas of my own heart that needed healing and renewal. One of the biggest surprises was realizing how subtly fear had taken hold of my thinking—and how often it was shaping my decisions without me even noticing.

Maybe you've been there too.

If you've ever felt overwhelmed, exhausted, uncertain about the future, or weighed down by questions you can't answer, I believe this Sunday's message will encourage you.

This week we begin a brand-new series called RESET as we explore what it looks like to regain God's perspective and renew our hearts. We'll start by looking at King Hezekiah's response to overwhelming fear in 2 Kings 18–19 and discover how faith can overcome what threatens to control us.
