A couple of years ago I was constantly overdrafting my account. I’m embarrassed at how much money I spent in overdraft fees. $35 each time. And when you’re already on a tight, low income budget…that $35 is a LOT!

Once I started with the 2nd checking account for my rent - things changed. I wasn’t overdrafting, I was paying rent on time, and I felt a little more more to breath.

Then, I got a car - and my daughter got a horse - and I needed another account. Sure, maybe to some it’s overdoing it but, for me…it’s help me stop living paycheck to paycheck, and it’s helped me to stop getting overdraft fees.

This has also helped me save a little extra money in my accounts, too! Sometimes, we just need to reevaluate our money systems, and systems, in general.

This is the 2nd weekend where I haven’t done anything 🤣 I’m not mad about it!

Everytime…instant regret

Meal prepping done easy! It’s the only way I can prep for the week. It helps me stay on track with my budget, because I know I already have food at home, and am less likely to eat out. Eating out is crazy expensive so, I try to cut that out of my budget more than anything else!

Leave some of your favorite meal prep meals below ā¬‡ļø

5 years without my mom, and so many milestones she’s missed. I’m glad she was here to see me have the strength to leave my ex husband but, everything else…she’s missed.

One thing I’ve learned since losing my parents…I recognize them in my daily life, through the way I’m living. Everything they taught me. What’s been instilled. My strength has come from the way they raised me. They truly prepared me for a life without them in it, and for that….words can’t express how grateful I am.

I saw another creator do this, and I loved the concept!

Check out these podcasts, if you’re ready to change your mindset, and get more out of life.

Changing my mindset is truly the biggest reason why I was able to ā€œelevateā€ my life. I know it sounds cliche, and cheesy but, it’s true. I didn’t really understand this until I started consuming growth/mindset content.

Not only did this help me grow as a person, it also helped me grow, financially. I left a job that didn’t see my worth. I asked for more money. I started working harder at my content, to help earn more money.

If I can do it, I promise…so can you!

Not everybody is spending their weekends out and about. Most of my weekends look like this - especially my Sundays. Might I add, this is why I think a 4 day work week would be ideal! Give us 2 days to decompress…not just 1!

I try to prep for the week ahead, as a way to not only make my life easier but, to also save money. When I don’t prep, I’m more likely to spend money eating out.

What would I buy if I only had $60 for groceries for 2 people?

As part of my partnership with , I wanted to create a realistic meal plan using affordable ingredients that can be used in multiple ways throughout the week.

Instead of buying ingredients for just one meal, I focused on items that could work double-duty.

Make the most of what you have while still creating meals that are filling, practical, and family-friendly.

Please leave your favorite budget friendly meal, down in the comments! ā¬‡ļø
