Piccini is all about family ❀️

When Janet and Tony Galante took over Piccini Wood Fired Pizza in 2018, they weren't just buying a restaurant β€” they were continuing the legacy of a beloved Ocean City spot with deep roots in the local community πŸ™Œ

Born and raised in the area, Janet and Tony have spent decades serving the Shore community through their businesses and careers. When the opportunity to take over Piccini came along, they jumped at the chance to carry on its tradition and build something their sons could one day take over πŸ₯°

Today, continues to serve up the wood-fired pizzas, Italian favorites, and welcoming atmosphere that people have come to know and love πŸ•πŸ‘

Bonus: they also offer free delivery starting at 5pm πŸ’ƒ

How cool are these old photos from Del’s? πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

Their story actually starts back in 1954 with a small sandwich shop in Audubon, NJ, before making the move to Ocean City in 1965 β€” right to the same boardwalk location they still call home today πŸ‘ That means Del’s Oceanside Grill has now been part of the OCNJ food scene for more than 60 years.

Back then, surfers were riding classic long boards while was building a name for their famous steak sandwiches and burgers πŸŒŠπŸ”

Over the years, the menu has grown to include seafood platters, homemade crab cakes, and more, but the restaurant has stayed a longtime favorite for generations of beachgoers πŸ₯°

There’s something really special about places with this much history behind them. 🫢
