The deepest foundation of The Unconventional Mamas is building solid tribe with families that are likeminded. A crew to move with, laugh with, philosophize with, celebrate with and to lean on when the times get tough.

When I was running my prenatal, postnatal and family yoga studio for all those years it was always my mission to support the mothers so they could better support their children. The real depths of this philosophy was to support the children. The mother love came from my years of supporting the spiritual growth of women. Babies were just the next step. And as I grow as an unschooling, solo mother, I have naturally gravitated to the next level of supporting women. And here we are! As mothers who are all on the same page of what we want for our children in this crazy world.

When I sold my business including the name it was so hard to let that name go that I had built for 20+ years but I knew there was a purpose. I came up with a name that I fully resonated with and embodied but I wasn’’t sure how yet. I was however totally 100% positive it was divine driven and as I always move, with God, I knew it was the direction of my future. It was then that patience needed to settle in and allow the divine to do their work with my acceptance of the journey.

And The Unconventional Mamas was born! I tried to change names on my personal website to make it the new brand and the divine said “SORRY!” and crashed the whole thing losing many images and content. But as the journey goes, with that I was given another amazing mama (who is not pictured here but had texted us from her adventures this very moment to tell us she was swimming in the sea and still connected to us) This mama was also a client of the old studio. How is that for full circle? And now she is supporting me in finding the framework for the new website which will ultimately be the framework for the expansion of The Unconventional Mamas. Its just how God works!
