CLR-1 HQ Marines showed up and showed out at the Commanding General's Cup Warrior Athlete Challenge, proving once again that the Reckless Regiment is built different!

Embracing the spirit of SSgt Reckless, the Marines and Sailors of CLR-1 enjoyed a visit from the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard out of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, CA. Established in 1967 to embody the spirit of the American Legation in Peking, China, they were the first and only officially designated cavalry detachment in the Marine Corps. The “Horse Marines” continue the tradition of mounted Marines and helps keep the story of Marines like SSgt Reckless alive to this day.

Passing the torch with pride! Last week marked the transition of leadership as Captain Alexandra Ekonomakis hands over the reins to 1stLt Brett Halterman at the CLR-1 Support Company change of command ceremony. Captain Ekonomakis, your dedication has been unwavering; now, we eagerly welcome 1stLt Halterman, ready to embrace the challenges ahead with courage and commitment. Here's to the past, present, and future of the “RECKLESS” Regiment’s Support Company!
