In a landmark moment for American desert racing, (BITD) and (UNLTD) announced today the unification of the two organizations to a new national points series in 2026 - The . This unprecedented collaboration brings together the two most respected entities in desert racing and marks a decisive step forward toward unity, consistency, and long-term growth for the sport.

The 2026 American Off-Road Racing Championship will feature the most celebrated races in the sport, including contributions from both UNLTD and BITD event calendars. Together, the organizations are co-developing standardized competition frameworks including a unified calendar, rulebook, technical inspections, and points system, to eliminate conflicts and create a clear, consistent “American Off-Road Racing Championship” for racers and fans.

As part of this alignment, UNLTD and BITD will join forces for the final round of the 2025 season at the iconic Laughlin Desert Classic, October 15–19. Instead of staging competing events this fall, the two organizations will unite their season finales into one massive, high-impact weekend at this historic race.
