As you celebrate our nation's independence with family and friends, we wish everyone a fun, safe, and memorable holiday.

If you're enjoying fireworks, remember to:
• Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
• Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
• Keep pets indoors and comfort them during loud celebrations.

If you're grilling, stay outside, keep your grill away from homes and anything that can burn, and never leave it unattended.
