🥞 Pancakes for Calvin this Sunday 😃

Alright friends… it's that time again.

We're doing our All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast for Calvin this Sunday morning, and we'd love to see a bunch of familiar faces there.

If you've been before, you know the deal... it's a really nice morning. Nothing fancy. Just pancakes, coffee, good people, and a room full of folks who care about Calvin and his family.

$8 for all-you-can-eat pancakes.
You really can't beat that.

💙 Calvin Update & a BIG THANK YOU from the family! 💙.

Calvin will remain in the hospital through the weekend. Earlier there was a scary moment when he developed a mucus plug that caused his oxygen level to drop to 50%. Thankfully, the medical team responded quickly and his levels are back to normal. Due to this, doctors want to continue close monitoring and carefully adjust his treatments.

There have been conversations about possibly moving Calvin to the ICU. The team is doing everything they can to avoid that, while increasing certain respiratory supports and reducing others to help his lungs. Because of all this, Calvin won’t be home in time for school on Monday. 😞

Through it all, Dan and Deb (Calvin's parents) continue to juggle an unbelievable amount. Dan has been splitting his days between the hospital and intense new academy training for his job. It’s physically demanding, emotionally draining, and completely different from anything he’s done before, yet he’s pushing through because that’s what this family does.

They’re also doing their best to make sure Calvin’s sisters feel supported and seen. This weekend they’re taking the girls to Comic Con for a little fun and a much needed break. Maddie will be dressing as one of her favorite anime characters, while Dan, Deb, and Sam are going as a full “Where’s Waldo” family. 😊

Attached is a short video Dan sent of him and Calvin thanking everyone for the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown over the years. Even in the middle of a difficult week, their gratitude is genuine and overwhelming.

Please keep Calvin, his lungs, and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the days ahead. Your support truly matters more than you know. 💙🙏
