Share the road! We were happy to document the Maricopa Highway bike lane build last week. Kept us on our toes - a mile of road, so much going on at once, drivers who got out of their cars in traffic to tell us how they felt.

This temporary build is being monitored for traffic and safety, how it gets used. This is part of larger grant funded project to encourage active modes of transportation, we’re excited to see this happen in Ojai.

Big love to the contractors, city workers and volunteers who showed up. This is essential work. It’s hard work and exhausting working next to traffic. We saw people use it right away. 🚲🌿
