Our Story

The Boccali Ranch Pumpkin Patch has been providing locally grown seasonal produce to Ventura County for 41 years. The family owned and operated pumpkin patch, located in the scenic East end of Ojai, has a variety of pumpkins, seasonal squash, Indian corn, decorative gourds, and farm‐fresh produce, all grown minutes away on the Boccali farm in the Upper Ojai Valley. Visitors can take a stroll through the cornfields and search for the perfect pumpkin.

Admission is always free, and there are daytime hayrides and a free hay maze for the kids. Come relax, enjoy some fresh air, and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Complete your visit to the patch with a family style lunch or dinner at Boccali’s Pizza & Pasta, right next door.

Evenings get a little “haunted” at Boccali’s Ranch Pumpkin Patch. Come out for an after-dark ride through the cornfields, where the creatures of the night are dying to meet you. Friday & Saturday nights starting October Friday the 11th, the patch offers Haunted Hayrides from 7-9pm. Tickets are $15.

Come out to the fire ring for some acoustic campfire songs on select Friday & Saturday evenings. Friday, Oct 11th, 2019, there are free fireside haunted tales told by Ventura County’s infamous ghost hunters, Richard Senate, from 7-9pm.

The patch is open Oct 5-31, 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm with special extended hours from 10am-9pm on Fridays & Saturdays, starting 10/11. Daytime hayrides on the weekends from 11am-5pm.

Special haunted evening hayrides on Friday & Saturday nights; 10/11 & 12, 18 & 19, 25 & 26, 2019 from 7-9pm. Tickets for our haunted hayrides are $15.
