The Immeasurable

You give me something and I give you something in return, and we say we love each other. Obviously, that is not love. This is the structure of the family relationship, the structure upon which society is built. I say this is totally wrong; it is a mutual exploitation. So I say, ‘Let’s find out if one can live differently without exploitation.’ So one has to go into the question of what relationship is. To be related means to be in contact, physically, mentally, emotionally, to be in contact at the same time, at the same level, with the same intensity. Otherwise, you are not in contact.⁠
