Selph-Inflicted R/C Airboats

Was going through a forum over at RC Universe and ran across an old pic. A fellow airboater, Mike had this project. He had twin OS46FX on board. It was ready to test. But due to an illness, we never got to see it in action.

I was curious as to its performance.

Kurt, in a covert operation, unbeknownst to anyone, even me... transformed a SI3 60 Series. From an air prop to a water prop. And the performance was jaw dropping. Here are a few pics of his conversion. Maybe Kurt will post the videos of it in action.

Here is Kurt pushing the 1/4 scale converted to electric to hit 70mph. He comes very close with this run.
