This morning I received a frantic call from a worried mother in tears. Her daughter and her daughter's friend, both college students and my clients, have been touring Europe for the past few weeks. Last night while in Prague they got separated and one of the young ladies was attacked and assaulted. They desperately wanted to come home as soon as possible instead of continuing their journey.

Fortunately the girls had purchased the Allianz Travel Insurance I recommended. I was able to find them a flight home in the morning and started the claim through the insurance. The girl's mother had enough to deal with and it was comforting to her that she had someone to handle everything.

Allianz was very quick to start the claim for me and offered a list of medical facilities and other resources. This is the first major claim I have had with them and I am very impressed.

The girl's mother just sent me this text after she followed up with Allianz about the claim:

"Allianz was amazing. So thankful they are coming home. This experience has opened my eyes to the value of an agent and travel insurance. Thanks so much."

This was a horrible situation but the fact that she had an agent to call and insurance to fall back on made it a little easier to manage. Please remember to ALWAYS suggest and advocate for travel insurance.
