Today we remember St. Augustine Zhao Rong and Companions, also recognized as the "martyrs of China". Despite the persecution of Christians, they persisted in their faith. Let us learn to imitate their zealous virtue!

On the Feast of the First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church, Archbishop Peter Wells celebrated Mass at the shrine with concelebrants Monsignor Wolf (left) and Fr. Tom Boyer (far right).

Archbishop Peter is from Guthrie, Oklahoma and now lives in Thailand serving as the Apostolic Nuncio, the Pope's diplomatic ambassador. The archbishop makes a pilgrimage to the shrine having in common with Blessed Stanley Rother his Oklahoma background and service to the life of the Church.

Thanks to all clergy who continue to visit us at the shrine, offering humble service by the celebration of the Mass or hearing confessions, uniting us in the spirit of pilgrimage through Blessed Stanley's witness!
