One of our favorite industry traditions each year.
Last week, we joined clients, partners, and fellow service providers for an annual seafood boil that has become a staple of the Kansas City commercial real estate community. Events like this are a great reminder that the relationships we build extend well beyond the normal workday.
We appreciate everyone who helped make the event possible and always enjoy the opportunity to connect with so many familiar faces.

A fun afternoon at the KCMO branch cookout yesterday.
Many of our team members are passionate Mexico soccer fans, so it was great to take a break together, enjoy lunch, and watch Mexico's match. Even better, they came away with a win.

A few highlights from recent industry events around Kansas City.
We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with clients, partners, and others across the commercial real estate community. Good conversations, familiar faces, and a lot of fun along the way at the IREM Kansas City & NorthPoint Foundation golf tournaments.

Liz's interest in landscaping began with a love of nature and the outdoors that started during childhood trips to Colorado. Today, one of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing clients happy with the improvements made to their properties.

Cassie’s interest in horticulture began early through a school gardening club, where she learned about plant biology, irrigation, and growing techniques while helping care for the garden and harvest crops for the school farmers market.
Today, she enjoys the creative side of the industry and seeing landscape designs come to life through installation.
“It’s exciting to see the vision I had in my head come to life.”

During Women in Horticulture Week, we’re sharing a few of the people who help shape the work we do.
Grethell enjoys being able to add her own touch to landscapes and takes pride in helping properties look their best.
She began her career working in w**d control and continues to enjoy the outdoor work, changing seasons, and flower installations that come with the industry. One thing she has learned along the way is not to be afraid to prove what you’re capable of.
Her advice to other women considering horticulture:
“Don’t be afraid, go get it.”
