Let’s break it down: Unrealistic Goals: • “I want to lose 30 pounds in a month.” • “I’m going to work out every single day, no matter what.” • “I’ll cut out all sugar, carbs, and snacks overnight.”Realistic & Attainable Goals: • “I want to lose 1-2 pounds per week and keep it off.” • “I’ll commit to working out 3-4 times a week and build from there.” • “I’ll start by cutting back on soda and sugary snacks, then reassess.”How to Set Goals That Actually Work: 1. Start small. Build momentum with consistent wins. 2. Be specific. “Drink more water” becomes “Drink 64oz daily.” 3. Stay flexible. Life happens—adjust, don’t quit. 4. Track progress. Not just weight—how you feel, sleep, energy, confidence.It’s not about going hard, it’s about going smart.
