I like this photo, it is from a few years ago when we were doing what we love to do...volunteer to make our community a better place. This is a special thank you post to the hundreds, literally hundreds of you that responded to Missy's post with encouraging words, sympathies, empathies and good vibes...Some of you chose to simply scroll on, and that's okay, it simply means you weren't quite sure what to say, or perhaps how to say it...it's okay. It really is.
The only quick update I'm going to give is this; we are doing okay. We are truly blessed to have shelter in the form of our motorhome and each day we work toward the best tomorrow we can create. We use humor where we can, and we understand that it is not always sunshine and roses...
Missy has definitely trooped and of course there are side effects to the chemo, but I vowed to let her update as she sees fit.
For Me? Can anyone recommend a good proctologist? You see, I've got a problem. When I suggested to Missy that we could still visit theme parks as she went through treatment and that I would just get her a Handicapped Scooter....VAROOMPH! and I mean VAROOMPH! She jammed it so far up my rear end (handle bars first) that the grip from one of the handles is slightly poking out of my nose. What's worse is that one of the wheels from this scooter is dangling a little bit out of my butt and when I drive it is not only uncomfortable, but if I tap on the brakes too hard I roll a little forward...So, as you can imagine I need to get that removed.
I should add, wedged in there with the scooter are some misplaced jokes and other ideas that just weren't timely.
But other than that, we press on...I should remind you that we are indeed selling properties, some that are high and dry and welcome you to private message for more deets...Love ya all...post soon.

Christopher has been amazing through this whole thing. Yesterday he realized that the water intrusion paid loss to some of his newest baseball cards among other things.
In the afternoon Christopher had his coaches come over with their boys to give some respite; make me realize that the project was much bigger than me and they turned me on to a great guy who got his troops into action and have been here all day.
The coaches planned an unscheduled ball practice for any of the team that were interested .
Missy took Christopher to the practice.
I went to meet the contractor.
When Missy pulled up to practice the coaches sons approached Missys vehicle and presented Christopher with a gift.
