Tempers flared at the Common Council on Tuesday over discussions of the city pool, with council members claiming a lack of transparency appeared to be sabotaging the project.

During a meeting of the council’s youth and recreation committee, council President Vernon Robinson Jr., I-Ward 6, accused Mayor Amy Sherburne’s administration of poor communications with the council on projects such as renovations of the pool at War Veterans Park, including limited information and information being delivered the day of meetings.
