For the third year in a row, Angelina Napoleon will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, set for this week at the University of Oregon.
Napoleon will be among the field of 24 vying for an NCAA title in the Women’s 3000-meter steeplechase 😤🏃‍♀️ The championship opens with two 12-runner semifinals, which will air live Thursday night (8:38 p.m. EST) on ESPN2‼️ The top five in each heat plus the next two best times will advance to the national final, slated for Saturday night (8:24 p.m.) on ESPN2.

Angelina qualified for nationals after winning her heat and placing fourth overall at the NCAA East Regional on May 30.
She currently ranks No. 4 in the country (and No. 3 among those competing in Oregon) in the steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:37.72.
Napoleon said she feels good and had a strong stretch of workouts leading into this week’s championship. Her goal now: To reach the podium for the second-straight season after a third-place finish last June! 🥉

It was our pleasure to welcome C.J. Bridenbaker, a Port Allegany High School senior, yesterday for a job shadow visit 🧑‍💻💼

C.J., who’s interested in pursuing engineering in college next year, met with six of our engineers/managers, who walked him through their roles and responsibilities at NES, their different career paths and what sparked their interest in their field.
At NES, we’re committed to doing our part to develop the next generation of engineering and manufacturing professionals. We thank C.J. for coming in and bringing such great enthusiasm to the day.
